An heirloom variety of pumpkin the Crookneck is the ancestor of the butternut pumpkin that is commercially grown today.
Produces bottle-shaped fruits with curved necks with a sweet nutty taste.

Delicious roasted, steamed or in pumpkin pies and soups.

Grow notes:

Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers rich soil with a generous amount of water in full sun.
