A classic heirloom pumpkin of the 19th century, it has the size, shape and appearance of a wheel of cheese. The skin is tan coloured with sweet, deep orange flesh. It has exceptional keeping qualities and is medium sized 3-4.5 kg.
Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers a rich soil with generous amount of water in full sun.
