An heirloom Japanese pumpkin that produces high yields of good-looking and great-tasting pumpkin with sweet, firm flesh, and a delicate and mellow flavour similar to the taste of chestnuts.
A teardrop-shaped pumpkin with bright orange-red skin. Each plant will bear multiple fruits that weigh 1.8–3.5 kg.
A very versatile pumpkin in the kitchen.

Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers rich soil with a generous amount of water in full sun.
