An old heirloom variety of Sweet Potato winter squash dating back to 1894 with cream-colored cylindrical fruits striped in green or orange that produces 20cm long flavourful fruits.
Known for its ease of cooking and creamy flavor and texture it is commonly baked but is easily microwaved, sautéed, or steamed.
It may also be stuffed with meat or vegetable mixtures.
