A compact dwarf heirloom variety of silverbeet ideal for growing in small spaces or containers.
Produces dark green glossy foliage with thick bright white storks with a more succulent texture and taste than the more commonly grown varieties of silverbeet.
Leaves can be harvested individuality as sweet tender bay leaf at around 25cm tall or left to mature around 45cm tall that can be harvested as whole plants and used similar to bok choy.
Harvest the baby leaves in around 25 days or at full size at 45 days. Use young leaves in salads, steam or stir-fry mature leaves.
A rich source of vitamins, minerals and fibre makes it an excellent choice for healthy eating. Suitable for pots or the vegetable patch.
