Royal red Swiss Chard has contrasting deep red stems and savoyed medium green leaves that are ideal for baby leaf production.
Royal red is widely used for salad mix production and offers excellent vigour for year-round production.
An excellent variety with a colour that holds well into maturity.
Growing 60 cm tall Royal Red is also excellent used for steam of boiled vegetables.
Add to salads as baby leaves in 28 days or wait for full-sized bunches at maturity. Chard is a healthy, easy-to-grow alternative to spinach which is more tolerant of heat.
