Plant produces good yields of medium size 12 kg (28 lbs) watermelons. This is one of the best yellow flesh watermelons on the market. It has solid flesh that is very crisp, very sweet and favourable. The yellow flesh turns more orange as it ripens and taste improves with time.

Temperate climate:Spring to Early Summer.
Cool climate: Mid-Spring to Early Summer.

Germination: 6-10 days
Maturity: 15-20 weeks

Best sown direct early in the season. For earlier planting in cooler climates raise in pots in warm conditions and transplant after 3-4 weeks. Requires temperatures of around 18-20°C for germination. 
Sow in rows 40-60cm between plants and in rows 120cm apart
If sowing direct, plant 3-4 seeds 15mm deep in mounds, later thinning to the two strongest plants.
Plant in a free-draining soil in a position with full sun. 
For best results fertilise and keep well watered, keep soil moist and avoid overhead watering where possible. 
Harvest after 75-90 days when the stem turns brown and begins to break away from fruit.
