Low growing erect or sometimes spreading grass like Acaia with flatten phyllodes (leaves) and small golden yellow flower balls occurring from June to October.
Occurring naturally in the South West Province of Western Australia.
Will tolerate many different soils as long as it well drained. Full sun to part shade although flowering will be more profuse in full sun.
For best results, sow the seeds in spring or early summer. Sowings in autumn and winter may result in slow germination, weaker seedlings, or germination failure.
- soak in water for 24-48 hours.
- Next, soak seeds in near boiling water overnight to help soften the tough exterior and improve germination.
- Sow the seeds to a depth equal to the seed's width.
Germination: Typically occurs within two weeks.
