An attractive species of Acacia with a rounded dense spreading habit 1-3 metres in height.
Fine leaf foliage, hence the common name "Fine-Leaf Wodjil" and masses of yellow ball-shaped flowers that occur during the months of July to October.
Occurs naturally in the regions of the Avon Wheatbelt, Coolgardie, Esperance Plains, Geraldton Sandplains, Mallee, and Yalgoo in Western Australia.
It will tolerate many different soils as long as it is well-drained and non-saline.
Full sun to part shade although flowering will be more profuse in full sun.
Acacia is easy to propagate from seed.
The best time to sow Acacia seed is autumn, Late winter and spring.
Germination: Typically occurs within two weeks.
