A fast-growing small tree up to 5 metres tall with narrow leaves and prolific pale yellow ball-shaped flowers during Winter-Spring.

Native to East Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.
Adaptable to most soils but prefers a protected shaded moist position. Drought and frost tender.

For best results, sow the seeds in spring or early summer. Sowings in autumn and winter may result in slow germination, weaker seedlings, or germination failure.

Next, soak seeds in near boiling water overnight to help soften the tough exterior and improve germination.
Sow the seeds to a depth equal to the seed's width.

Germination: Typically occurs within two weeks.
