A strong growing variety with large sky blue flowers atop of tall stems during the summer months. A reliable species for growing in a sunny border or container.
Agapanthus form clumps with strappy leaves, clumps can be divided in autumn or early spring to produce additional plants.
Grow notes:
Adaptable to most soils but prefers a light to medium soil in an open sunny position.
Tropical: Late Winter to Early Summer.
Temperate: Spring to Early Summer.
Cold: Spring to Early Summer.
Sow: 1-2mm deep and keep moist.
For best results sow directly into soil where they are to grow. If growing on trays transplant when large enough to handle to avoid excessive root disturbance.
Germination: 14-28 days.
