Asters are one of the most popular varieties of flowers to grow as they are guaranteed to prove a spectacular display of colour.
This double-needle variety is in pink, red, yellow, violet, and blue colours.

Aster's are hardy plants providing they get adequate water they are excellent plants for long-lasting cut flowers.
Aster performs well in a variety of situations including pots, containers, and borders.

Adaptable to most soils but prefers light to medium soil in an open sunny position.
Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.

The best time to sow the seed is in Spring after the last frost.

  • Plant the seeds in well-draining soil as they prefer moist soil but don’t like to be waterlogged.
  • Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and keep them moist but not wet.
  • Position the pots in a warm and bright location, but not in direct sunlight.
  • Once the seedlings emerge, you can transplant them into individual pots or your garden

Germination: 10 to 21 days.

  • Please do not be too hasty to discard seeds that do not germinate; seeds will often lay dormant until the conditions are similar to their natural germination requirements.
  • As with all seeds, they must have adequate water to germinate, keep them moist but not too wet.
