Thai Queenette basil has lush deep green leaves, purplish flower buds and stems and carries anise overtones to its sweet basil scent. Extensively used in Thai cooking, add to green and red curries or spicy stir-fried dishes. The flower buds are also edible.
Adaptable to most well-drained soil in a protected sunny position with an adequate amount of water.
