A mix of semi-orange double and double, yellow, apricot, and cream flowers on long, straight stems are ideal for cutting. The Calendula Pacific Beauty is easy to grow and an adaptive plant that will prosper under most conditions.
It is adaptable to most soils and conditions, provided it is sunny.
Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for more vigorous plants.
Calendula seeds can be planted directly into the garden or in trays/containers and then transplanted when they are large enough to handle.
For garden planting, sow the seeds 15mm deep and 50-60cm apart in rows 60cm apart. Keep the soil moist throughout the growth period. The seeds will typically germinate within 7-14 days. The optimum soil temperature is 18-22°C.
Tropical: Late Summer to Autumn or in Spring.
