A tall erect growing Dahlia that produces large single flowers in a mix of colours that make great cut flowers.
Dahlia 'Coltness' is an old fashioned variety first introduced in 1922.
Dhalias are great pollinator plants that attract beneficial insects to the garden.
Perfect for garden beds, borders and containers. Coltness Single Mix comes into its own when planted in mass.
Dahlia is a warm-season flower.
For best results, sow directly in their growing position 12mm deep
Germination takes around 7-10 days at a soil temperature of 18-22°C.
Tropical: Winter & Spring.
Temperate: Spring to Early Summer.
Cold: Spring to Early Summer.
Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. It performs best in sandier soils and lightens heavy clay soils by adding sand.
