An attractive small tree or mallee that is native to Western Australia with smooth, white or grey bark that is often powdery, and produces creamy-white flowers between November and January.
The round juvenile leaves are waxy white and frequently used in dry flower arrangements. The adult leaves are lanceolate, glossy, and dark green, and measure between 5 to 10 cm in length.
This plant usually grows as a mallee and can reach up to 3 meters in height. It is commonly found throughout the inland portion of Southwest Australia, particularly in the southern Wheatbelt region.

Popular in the cut foliage industry where it is coppiced to produce the white juvenile leaves and used for cut foliage.
Although seed can be sown most of the year around if you avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year, the best time to sow is generally spring.
Germination generally occurs in around 10-28 days at a soil temperature of 18-22°C
