A medium size eucalyptus with attractive smooth grey bark. The dark glossy green leaves are 10 cm long and tapered.
Flowers bloom in clusters and range in colour from cream to green and form long lasting displays during November to April. The fruit are red which, when massed with flowers and bright green leaves, form an attractive display.
Endemic to Western Australia.
Prefers a light to heavy well-drained soil in an open sunny position, drought, frost and wind resistant.
Although seeds can be sown most of the year if you avoid the coldest and hottest months, spring is generally the best time to sow.
The grow mix should be well-draining, preferably with organic compost. This will replicate the soil they require in nature.
A potting mix is not recommended.
Germination occurs in around 10-28 days at a soil temperature of 18-22°C
