Heirloom variety that is a real eye catcher. Tiger Eyes is an open-pollinated Marigold that has been gracing gardens for more than a century.
This fabulous French marigold surprises and delights with big, bold "eyes" of deepest red and the brightest yellow. The flowers measure about 5cm (2”) across with single lower petals of smoky red and eye-catching, pompon-like upper petals of sunny yellow.
Adaptable to most garden soils in an open sunny position.

Temperate: Spring, Summer and Autumn
Cold: Spring and Summer
Sow: Sow 5-6mm deep.
Sow direct or in trays of a quality seed raising mix and transplant when when 6cm tall.
Germination: 10-14 days
Plant space: 30cm
Flowering: 12 weeks
Remove spent flowers to encourage dense growth and new flowers.
Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
