This small annual is widely distributed across the top of Australia where it easily copes with hot, humid summers.
Everlasting pink fading to white and occasionally purple blooms continuously during the season, an excellent dried flower that adds colour to any cut flower arrangement.
Endemic to Northern Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Grow notes:
Prefers an average to slightly sandy well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Tropical: Early Spring to Late Autumn.
Temperate: Spring to Late Summer.
Cool climate: Mid-Spring to Autumn.
Sow: 3mm deep
Scatter direct or sow in trays and cover lightly with fine soil or seed raising mix. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle.
Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position.
