A hardy fast, low-growing annual that produces dense clusters of fragrant small rounded white, pink, red, and purple flowers over a long season.
An excellent choice for hanging baskets borders, and edgings, outstanding in rock gardens or other areas of the garden where a trailing plant is needed.
Grow notes:
A hardy plant that is adaptable to most soils and positions, drought and frost-resistant.
Dislikes continually damp soil.
Tropical: Early Spring to Late Autumn.
Temperate: Spring to Late Autumn.
Cool climate: Mid-Spring to Autumn.
Sow: 5mm deep
Sow direct or sow in trays and transplant when large enough to handle.
Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Plant space: 40-50cm
Germination: 10-20 days
Feed regularly with a soluble fertiliser for healthier, stronger plants.
