An herbaceous annual grows from 10-40cm in height depending on the conditions with a similar spread, typically with an erect stem and narrow leaves arranged in a basal rosette.
Yellow daisy-like papery flowers 2.5cm across occur from July to October in its native range.
Prefers well-drain soil in a sunny open position. Drought tolerant.
Occurs naturally in the IBRA Region of Murchison in Western Australia.
For best results ensure the growing area is free of weeds.
Sow late autumn and winter when the rains start. Surface sow and rake lightly, no need to cover all the seed.
If required water with a fine mist spray to avoid disturbance of the seed.
Germination should occur in 1-2 weeks.
Flowering: Spring to early summer.
