This is a tough and sturdy shrub that grows upright and branches out, with dense grey-white foliage. The foliage is fragrant when crushed and was used by early settlers as a herb, who called it wild Rosemary.
The shrub produces yellow-white-cream flowers between January and July or November and December, depending on the area it grows in.
It is salt tolerant and ideal for coastal regions.
The shrub is native to much of the Western Australian coastal strip, from Shark Bay in the north to the southern coast, and extending into South Australia.
It prefers light to medium well-drained soil.
