This award-winning peony-type poppy has unusual frilly blooms that are approximately 10-12cm wide. The large feathery cream flowers are fully double.
An ideal bedding plant that is virtually maintenance-free. The plants have an unusual curly stem and the green seed pods are suitable for cutting for use in dried flower arrangements. Poppies are always more dramatic when planted in mass, a must for every spring garden. Self-sows freely.

Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in an open sunny position. Tolerant to poor sandy soils and drought and frost resistance.

Grow notes:

Tropical / Sub- tropical: Autumn to early winter.
Temperate: Late summer and autumn.
Cold: Late summer and early autumn.

Sow: 2-3mm deep, cover lightly and gently firm.
For best results sow directly into soil where they are to grow. If grown early indoors use a growing container that can be planted directly into the soil such as jiffy pots as seedlings do not like root disturbance.
Germination: 10-14 days.
Plant space: 20-30cm
Flowering: 20 weeks

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
