Pollen free Royal Velvet is a medium maturity multi-headed cut flower variety. It has an attractive deep red petal colour which makes it quite unique as an ornamental sunflower.
It supports a larger primary head which flowers first followed by smaller axial branching flowers. This feature gives it a longer overall flowering period which makes it great for the home gardener or commercial flower grower.
