Large, fragrant blooms in shades of pink produce an eye-catching garden display. These fragrant blooms on long stems make excellent cut flowers.
Rich, big, wine-red, fragrant, deep burgundy flowers appear very early on long-stemmed plants. They are excellent cut flowers for spring vases and have one of the longest bloom periods of all sweet peas.
Sweet peas are typically planted in autumn in southern Australia. They have a growth period throughout the winter, and the flowers are picked during the spring.
Pre-treatment: Soak the seed in water overnight.
Sow: 25 mm deep in the growing position.
Alternatively, Soak sweet pea seeds overnight, and place them on a moist paper towel in a plastic bag on top of the refrigerator. Check daily for moisture and germination, then sow at the required depth.

Seed can also be started by soaking seed overnight and placing on a moist paper towel and folding over. Put the paper towel with the seed in a plastic bag and place on top of the refrigerator. Check daily for moisture content and any seed that has germinated. Seed should start to germination in 3-5 days after which they can be sown at the required depth.
