White Clover is a herbaceous perennial plant in the legume (Pea and Bean) family Fabaceae that grows in lawns and disturbed sites throughout Europe and worldwide.
Flowers bloom from the bottom to the top of the flower cluster.
Excellent pollinator attracting honeybees and other beneficial Insects. White clover meets the legume requirement for the USDA NRCS-CRP pollinator practices.

Useful in lawn seed mixes, flowering lawns and soil stabilisation.

Grows in average, medium, well-drained soils, ideally moist soils in light shade but will adapt to dry soils in full sun.

Native to Europe, including the British Isles and Central Asia and is one of the most widely cultivated types of clover. White clover has been widely introduced worldwide as a forage crop and is now also common in most grassy areas (lawns and gardens) of North America, Australia and New Zealand.

Grow notes:

Germinates in autumn, and exhibits relatively good winter growth followed by rapid growth in early to mid-spring. Flowers throughout spring and summer

Adaptable to most soils but prefers light to medium soil in an open sunny position.
