Zinnia ‘Will Rogers’ was introduced in the 1940's and is named after a popular actor, humorist and columnist. William Penn Adair Rogers.
An excellent variety of Zinnia that grow to 75-90 cm tall with large 10-12 cm Dahlia flowered blooms in a vibrant cherry red.
One of the easiest annuals to grow Zinnias make excellent cut flowers and attract butterflies and beneficial insects to the garden.
An outstanding performer in garden beds, borders, and containers or pollinator gardens.
Native to Mexico Zinnia is grown as an ornamental in many places and naturalised in scattered locations in South and Central America, the West Indies, the United States, Australia, and Italy.
Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. Tolerant of average soils.

Sow: 6 mm deep
Sow direct in the growing position or trays. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoiding excessive root disturbance.
