A fast-growing busy shrub 3 metres tall, commonly known as Notable Wattle or Stiff Golden Wattle, produces bright golden yellow globular flowers from September to October.
The Phyllodes (leaves) are narrowly elliptic to oblanceolate or narrowly oblanceolate, 6–13 cm long.
A good shrub for screening or wind-break in parks and coastal conditions.
