A hardy delightful old-fashioned evergreen perennial that grows in low mounds 20-40cm tall that produce silvery foliage and clusters of scented flowers.
Flowers are bright yellow with four petals that occur over many months of the year.
Ideal for rock gardens, pots, containers, garden beds, hedging and cottage gardens.
A hardy plant that is tolerant to poor soils and drought.
Attracts beneficial insects.
Originating from the Mediterranean region making it is well suited to Australian summers.

Sow: 1-2mm deep
Sow directly in the growing position for the best results. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoiding excessive root disturbance.
Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position
Germinates faster when covered only very lightly. Keep moist during germination.
Adaptable to most soils and conditions but prefers an open sunny position. It is drought-resistant but frost-tender.
