Black Ball as its name suggests produces lovely black-coloured blooms on tall silver stems that are perfect for cutting.
Extremely effective when placed in borders, especially when surrounded by lighter-coloured foliage or flowers.
Cornflowers, also known as bachelor buttons, adapt to a variety of soils and thrive in full sun or partial shade. 

Flower petals are edible and can be sprinkled on salads, cottage cheese, and desserts.

Ideal for cutting flowers, bedding, borders and meadows gardens where they attract pollinators and beneficial insects. 
CENTAUREA cyanus originates from the wildflower meadows of Europe.

Grow notes:

Adaptable to most good well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. A hardy undemanding plant that tolerates poor soils and is drought and frost resistant.

Tropical: Autumn and Winter.
Temperate: 
Late summer and Autumn. 
Cold: 
Autumn and Early Spring.

Sow: 3mm deep.
Sow direct or sow in trays and transplant when large 5-6cm tall.
Plant space: 40cm
Germination: 14-21 days
Flowering: 14-18 weeks

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
