Golden Wave Tickseed is an annual wildflower that grows in prairies, savannas, and plains of the south-central and southeastern United States. This wildflower blooms for a long time and produces yellow flowers with a red star centre.
It suits beds and borders, wildflower mixtures, and pollinator gardens.

For best results, sow directly in the growing position.
If growing in trays or containers, transplant when large enough to handle.
If mass planting, scatter seeds and rake over lightly.
Tropical: Autumn to early winter.
Temperate: Winter and spring.
Cold: Late summer to early autumn or mid-spring.
Sow on the surface and firm into the soil, covering just enough to hold the seed in place. Keep moist whilst germination occurs.
Germination typically takes 7-21 days at a soil temperature of 12-22°C.
It is well suited to sandier soils and, once established, requires minimal water.
