A stunning Dianthus with a well defined sharp colour pattern of black and white on 1-2cm flowers that appear at the end of 15-18cm stems.
An effective plant that can be used in borders, edging, rockeries, baskets or pots that also looks great mass planted as a flowering ground-cover.

Dianthus are also useful for adding a delicate texture and colour to floral arrangements. 
Trim back lightly after first flowering. Plants can be divided early spring or autumn. Establishes readily from seed.

Grow notes:

Adaptable to most well-drained soils in a sunny position. Fertile soils will produce the best blooms, avoid waterlogged soils.

Tropical: Early Autumn to Late Spring.
Temperate: Late Summer to Late Spring.
Cold: Autumn & Spring.

Sow: 3mm deep.
Grow in trays transplant when large enough to handle (about 4-5 weeks) avoid excessive root disturbance.
Germination: 10-14 days.
Plant space: 15-30cm
Flowering: 18-20 weeks

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
