Valued for its abundant harvest and outstanding Tromboncino is an heirloom variety that was developed in Liguria Northern Italy and is now common throughout Italy.
Harvest young fruits as zucchini while tender and the skin are soft.
Mature fruits grow up to 1m long becoming curled like a trombone and should be treated like marrow or pumpkin.
Adaptable to most good garden soils that is well-drained in a sunny position; provide adequate food and water.
